That's awesome that you were in a band. It's awesome that you got to travel. I was rofl laughing when you wear wearing those platform shoes and fell. I wrote you earlier about the date i went on and she ended up being 6'5". I am only 6 feet tall. I was definitely shockdd about her height and wish I had some platform shoes. I kind of felt like deuce bigalow when he went on a date with Tina who must have been 6'11". What's crazy is that i noticed her hands and feet were bigger than mine too. We had dinner and i felt like I needed a booster seat. Jk. I definitely agree that I think taller men get more respect. I noticed people stared a lot because I was with a 6'5" woman.
It turns out I *did* want to hear about your band. Also, I *did* choose to play the bass. It was after hearing Les Claypool's bass playing in Primus and I thought, "You can do *that* with a bass guitar?"
this is the best email i have ever received.
amazing. thanks. i gotta use this as a testimonial!
Matt,
That's awesome that you were in a band. It's awesome that you got to travel. I was rofl laughing when you wear wearing those platform shoes and fell. I wrote you earlier about the date i went on and she ended up being 6'5". I am only 6 feet tall. I was definitely shockdd about her height and wish I had some platform shoes. Hey, 6 feet is pretty good! You're above average so that's something haha.
Have you ever seen deuce bigalow male gigalo? Would you date a woman who is 7 feet tall?
need to stand on a lot of phone books for that to work.
Yeah we would need too. Could take her to a basketball court for a date. It'd be awesome to see her dunk!
I have to confess. I am only 5'11". I wish i was 6 feet lol. She had 6 inches on me bro.
It's clear that you don't know me at all, Matt.
It turns out I *did* want to hear about your band. Also, I *did* choose to play the bass. It was after hearing Les Claypool's bass playing in Primus and I thought, "You can do *that* with a bass guitar?"
I just wrote a (much less in-depth) piece about my own band experience. It was a very different experience than yours but ended up the same, more or less. https://lyle.substack.com/p/now-i-know-what-ive-been-missing
