Not-fun fact: the part about porn and the news is completely true. The difference is that porn is frown upon, so you have to do it in private, at home, behind closed doors. This is a problem for teenagers, since "at home, behind closed doors" is 62% of their life, but, anyway.
However, imagine the world we would live in, if watching porn was something you did at the diner table every day ? If there was a constant 24h porn channel on at your parent's house, "just to have a background noise" ?
Also, ahem... what's the way out ? Telling kids to tune out of the news entirely ? News detox ? Banning advertisement ? Teaching people how to read real books ?
